Kahlúa is made with 100% Arabica coffee beans and rum. These authentic ingredients give it a smooth, distinct coffee flavor with just the right level of sweetness.
How much caffeine does Kahlúa coffee liqueur contain?
A standard 1.5 oz serving of Kahlúa contains about 5 mg of caffeine. To put it in perspective, an 8 oz brewed coffee can contain up to about 200 mg of caffeine.
How do I store Kahlúa coffee liqueur?
Kahlúa doesn’t need to be refrigerated. But we strongly recommend storing it away from direct sunlight. Keep open bottles in a cool, dry place.
Does Kahlúa coffee liqueur go bad?
For Kahlúa Original, we recommend a shelf life of four years. While it technically doesn’t go bad, the coffee flavor can fade over time.
Is Kahlúa coffee liqueur vegan?
While we do not add animal derivatives into our products, one of our sugar suppliers uses a process that is not considered vegan-friendly. While this is a common practice in the sugar industry, it unfortunately also means we are unable to say Kahlúa is suitable for a vegan or vegetarian diet.
